Breed Rescue
The Scottish Kennel Club maintains a list of telephone numbers which provides initial contact for breed rescue services in response to the numerous enquiries we receive on a daily basis. The breed rescue contacts are willing to assist in the rescue of unwanted dogs, but this service is not designed to replace the purchase of puppies from responsible breeders. This service does, however, assist people who want to rehome an unwanted pedigree dog or who need to find a suitable home for their own dog.

Please note that whilst The Scottish Kennel Club endeavours to ensure that the rescues are bona fide, it does not have control over the way in which they are operated.

Please note that not all pedigree breeds have a rescue in Scotland. Please contact us for details of breed specific rescues not listed below.
