Scottish Kennel Club Championship Shows

The Scottish Kennel Club holds two General Championship Shows each year. Please see the dates for the Shows being held in 2008 below:

Friday 16th May - Hounds, Terriers & Toys
Saturday 17th May - Working, Pastoral & Obedience
Sunday 18th May - Gundog, Utility & Agility

Saturday 23rd August - Gundog, Hound & Terrier& Agility
Sunday 24th August - Working, Pastoral, Utility, Toy

Venue: Royal Highland Showground, Ingliston, Edinburgh, EH28 8NF.

Opening of Show: The Show will open at 7.30am each day for Exhibitors. Main spectator gate open at 9.00am.
Judging Time: All judging will commence at 9.30am each day, unless notified in the Canine Press.
Admission for non-exhibitors: Adults £5.00, Children/Senior Citizens £2.00.

Un-entered dogs are not permitted in the Showground. Dogs are not permitted to be left in cars.

applications must be received no later than 7th January 2009

SKC Show Dog of the Year 2008

Please download the application form and return to the Scottish Kennel Club administration office no later than 30th January 2009.

S.K.C Beginners Obedience Competition 2008

Entry is restricted to dogs and handlers resident in Scotland who have never before participated in an Open or Championship Obedience Show. The Competition is organised on a heat basis and the first four winners in each class will qualify for the final on Sunday 24th August 2008 at the Royal Highland Showground, Ingliston, held in conjunction with the Championship Breed Show. There are two classes (1) Children under 16 years of age and (2) Adults. Further details can be obtained from the SKC Office or direct from the heat organisers.

There are no further heats for this event in 2008.
