The Scottish Kennel Club keeps abreast of all legislation regarding Dogs and Animal Welfare and is a member of the Cross Party Group on Animal Welfare at the Parliament.

Any, and all, consultations called on dog issues receive a response from The Scottish Kennel Club in line with the Constitution to protect and promote the interests of dogs in Scotland.

This section of the website will be updated with any responses as, and when, necessary. Members will also receive a full report in the Annual Report in order that dog owners in Scotland are kept informed of legislation which may affect them and their dogs.
