Working Trials are a series of exercises based on working police dogs and sheepdogs. Each level consists of Nosework Agility and Control.

To start off in Working Trials

• Request a list of Clubs which run Working Trial training classes from The Scottish Kennel Club
• Join a Club in your local area and start the training process, this will take considerable time and effort, you may want to start out with Obedience and /or Agility training first.
• Familiarise yourself with The Kennel Club Rules and Regulations for Working Trials.
• Your dog must be 18 months of age to start competing.
• Both you and your dog need to be physically fit to compete in Working Trials.
